Rams running back Todd Gurley named spokesman for GameFly

GameFly Inc. has signed Todd Gurley of the Los Angeles Rams as the company’s brand ambassador for its video game rental service.

This deal will see Gurley, who was voted "Offensive Rookie of the Year" by the Associated Press, involved in the brand's marketing activities through advertising, social media, appearances and other company campaigns.

"I'm a gamer and it's one of my favorite activities when I'm not on the field," Gurley said in a statement. "I am thrilled to partner with GameFly because they make it really easy to play the games we all love for less."

"Todd Gurley is a versatile NFL athlete and a real gamer," said GameFly Chief Executive Dave Hodess CEO. "We're excited to collaborate with Todd because he gets so much enjoyment out of games and his enthusiasm for the product is so obvious."

GameFly members pay a monthly fee to rent one or more console/handheld video games at a time, with no due dates, late fees or shipping charges. Users can choose from roughly 9,000 console/handheld titles and receive rental games via first-class mail or access the company’s game streaming service via Smart TVs, set top boxes and media players.
