Dave Markland is CFO & Administrative Partner of Tenaya Capital. He joined Tenaya in 2011. Dave’s responsibilities include investor relations, legal, finance, information technology and human resources, and he assists the investing team with transaction structuring and financial due diligence. Previously, Dave was CFO & Administrative Partner for Prospect Venture Partners from 2005 to 2010 and, prior to that, Dave was CFO & Administrative Partner with Lightspeed Venture Partners from 2000 to 2005. Previously, Dave was an audit partner with Arthur Andersen serving venture capital firms, healthcare and technology companies in Silicon Valley. Dave also has significant experience with partnership formation and LLC legal structures.

Dave received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Wyoming and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of CPAs.
